Hazard identified

The metal post and/or handle of the wind up mechanism can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

As of September 29, 2017 the company has received 1 report of the wind up mechanism detaching in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 6 reports of the wind up mechanism detaching, and no reports of injuries.

Number sold

Approximately 1,038 units of the affected item #66804 and 15 of item #96814 were sold in Canada and approximately 587,210 were sold in the United States.

Time period sold

The recalled toys were sold from March 2017 to August 2017 in Canada, and from January 2016 to August 2017 in the United States.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and contact Kids Preferred, LLC for a replacement.
