Affected products
This recall involves certain Ellerbeck Wall Sconces. The product features an articulating arm for adjusting and can be mounted as a plug-in fixture, without an electrical box or without a cord to an electrical box. Only wall sconces produced on or after June 16, 2023 and installed as a plug-in fixture, without an electrical box are included in this recall.
The manufacturing date and model number can be found on the back of the wall plate by unplugging the wall sconce and removing the two thumb screws on the wall plate. The first five characters of the date code indicate the manufacture date in the sequence of day of month, month and year (DDMYY) and can be decoded as seen in the image above.

Issue
The wall sconce’s electrical wires can become damaged at the adjustable joints, posing a potential risk of electric shock if installed as a plug-in fixture, without an electrical box.
As of February 20, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
