Product description

This recall involves John Deere TH, TS and TX-model GatorTM utility vehicles that have Kawasaki FE, FH and FJ series engines. The model information is located on the vehicle's cargo box.

Only utility vehicles with the below serial numbers are included in this recall. The serial number is on the vertical frame directly below the driver's seat.

  • 1M04X2SJ++M070915 through 1M04X2SJ++M072247
  • 1M04X2XC++M070040 through 1M04X2XC++M070213
  • 1M04X2XD++M070314 through 1M04X2XD++M072731
  • 1M06X4HD++M070049 through 1M06X4HD++M070372

Hazard identified

The fuel filter may leak, increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property.

Neither Deere & Company nor Health Canada have received any reports of incidents or injuries related to these products in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 135 units of the recalled utility vehicles were sold in Canada at John Deere dealers nationwide.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from November 2011 to August 2012.

Place of origin

Manufactured in United States.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact the nearest John Deere dealer to make arrangements to have the utility vehicle repaired. This service will be performed at no cost to the customer.
