Product description

This recall involves the Jelly Urchin Yo-yo Spinner toy by Play Visions Inc. The yo-yo ball toy consists of three multi-coloured soft plastic "urchin" balls connected in a line by a stretchable plastic cord. The end of the cord has a plastic tab to make it easier to hold.

The recalled yo-yo ball toy can be identified by the Play Visions item number 6066 and UPC 010984060662.

Hazard identified

Yo-yo type balls and similar products are banned in Canada because they present a hidden risk of strangulation to children.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these yo-yo balls.

Approximately 117 units of the recalled yo-yo balls were sold in Canada.
