Product description
This voluntary recall involves J Hunt Home side accent tables with built-in charging receptacles for AC/DC electricity and USB ports. The affected products are available in three styles with either one or two drawers and in a variety of colours. The recalled side tables are labelled on the back or bottom of the unit with the affected item numbers and date codes. The affected manufacturing date codes include all date codes inclusive of the range 04/2019 to 11/2019.

Hazard identified
The charging receptacles or USB ports built into the side accent tables may contain an electrical issue resulting in reverse polarity, posing an electric shock hazard to the consumer.
As of January 22, 2021 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.
Number sold
The company reported that 11,070 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and 95,686 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold exclusively in Canada at Winners, Marshalls and Home Sense from May 2019 to December 2019.
