Sylvania 50 Red LED C6 String Lights
This recall involves Sylvania 50 Red LED C6 String Lights for indoor/outdoor use. The affected product has a length of approximately 3.73 meters (12.25 feet), has red coloured bulbs and a green wire.
The recalled product has model number V47826-CAN/CLS350-1(0.02)-025, manufacturing date 07/2016, cUL file number E144334 and UPC 8 83624 47826 0. Consumers are able to locate the model number, manufacturing date and cUL file number on the white tag affixed to the wire and the UPC on the back of the product’s packaging.
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the recalled seasonal lights may pose an electric shock hazard.
Neither Health Canada nor Inliten, LLC has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
Approximately 5,280 units of the seasonal lights were sold at various stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from September 2016 to October 2016.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled seasonal lights and return the product to the store where purchased for a full refund.
