Product description
This recall involves the IKEA 365+ SÄNDA 70 centimetre (cm) and 114 centimetre (cm) lighting tracks identified by supplier number 21338, with a production date stamp of 1134-1208 (YYWW).
Hazard identified
A defective earth connection in the track could present a risk of electric shock upon contact with the track or connected lamps.
IKEA has received no reports of any incidents involving IKEA 365+ SÄNDA tracks.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these tracks.
Number sold
Approximately 1,016 pieces of the 70 cm track and 1,364 pieces of the 114 cm track were sold at IKEA stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from September 2011 to March 2012.

What you should do
Consumers are asked to turn off the circuit breaker connected to the track and check their track. If their track is affected, consumers should immediately stop using the track and return it to any IKEA store for a replacement unit or a full refund.
