Affected products
This recall involves HTRC C240 battery chargers sold for charging lithium-ion batteries. The defective chargers are black with two blue screens, numbered 1 and 2, and the model identifier "C240 DUO" is printed between the screens. The brand name "HTRC" is printed at the bottom left corner. All affected products can be identified by the serial number 6042201 and UPC 634383921487.
Issue
The chargers can ignite or cause a connected battery to ignite, posing a fire and burn hazard.
As of January 5, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact HTRC for instructions on safe disposal, and for a full refund. Batteries are considered hazardous waste. Do not place them in household garbage.
