Product description
This recall involves hot melt glue guns by DCG Imports Inc. The recalled glue gun is black and has a blue label with the words "Hot Melt Glue Gun 110V-120V 50-60HZ 10W". The packaging has the DCG logo with a red maple leaf inside the "C" on the front, and a black and white DCG logo on the back. The recalled glue guns can be identified by item number HH-58103, which can be found next to the bar code.
Hazard identified
The recalled devices do not bear any recognized Canadian certification marks and have not been evaluated for safety hazards.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.
Number sold
Approximately 1,892 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were distributed starting in July 2008.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
