Hazard identified
The foot pedal can become disengaged, posing a slip and fall hazard to users.
Horizon Fitness has received reports of foot pedal disengagements with no reported injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 125 units of the recalled elliptical trainers were sold at Canadian Tire stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from October 2009 to December 2009.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
