This recall involves various HEMNES Bookcases & Glass cabinet models available in multiple colors sold to April 2017. The affected bookcases & glass cabinets will have a marking on the product with the company name "IKEA" and manufacturing date before 1713.
Hazard identified
The shelves within the recalled bookcases & glass cabinet may fall as some of the provided shelf supports may not be long enough, posing an injury hazard.
As of May 27th, 2019, the company has received 2 reports of falling shelves in Canada, and 2 reports of minor injuries.
