Product description
This recall involves a 100% cotton nightshirt with "Hello Kitty" on the front. The price tag attached to the recalled sleepwear has the SKU number 567455 printed underneath the bar code.
Hazard identified
Health Canada has determined that the recalled nightshirts do not meet the design and flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Loose-fitting children's sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear. When loose-fitting sleepwear is made with natural fibres such as cotton, they can burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child's body.
Neither Health Canada nor Goldor Sales has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of the sleepwear.

Approximately 860 of the recalled nightshirts were sold at Giant Tiger stores across Canada.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightshirt away from children and return it with the sales receipt to the Giant Tiger store where it was purchased for a full refund.
