Product description
This recall involves Heart Gemstone Necklaces by United Unlimited Importers. The necklace consists of a metal heart shaped pendant with red and white gemstones. The necklace can be identified by UPC 780984755393.
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada revealed that the recalled necklace contains lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is very toxic to children even at low exposure levels. Children can ingest harmful amounts of lead when they chew, suck or swallow jewellery items containing lead.
Neither Health Canada nor United Unlimited Importers has received any reports of illness or injury to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Approximately 898 of the recalled necklaces were sold by United Unlimited Importers in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
