Health Canada warns that FeraDyne Outdoors Rhino Tree Stand Safety Harnesses may pose a fall hazard

Affected products
This alert involves the following product:
- Rhino Tree Stand Safety Harnesses made by FeraDyne Outdoors. The tree stands safety harnesses have black cloth strips with a white cloth tether stitched together and orange thread. The safety harness model number “RTH-2000S” or “RTH-2001S” is printed on a label included with each harness. This safety harness was included in the box of the tree-stand/ladder-stand products.
Issue
Based on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall, testing determined the safety harness does not comply with voluntary industry safety standard, ASTM F2337-21, and the stitching can rip, posing a fall hazard to the user.
What you should do
Consumers who have the affected product should immediately stop using it.
Regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for dangerous products and take action to remove items of concern.
Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of these products or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.

What is being done
The product has been removed from sale online from the following websites www.rhinotreestandsrecall.com and www.feradyne.com. Health Canada has not been able to contact the foreign company.
The CPSC recall states that 340 products were sold in Canada.
To date, no incidents or injuries related to this product have been reported to Health Canada.
