Affected products

This alert involves 2" Slats Wood Blinds for Indoor Windows available in a wide range of colours and sizes. The product brand may be YuUniqex and the ASIN is B0F6CSP42J.

Issue

Health Canada has determined that the blinds do not meet Canada's Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a risk of strangulation. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death. In addition, the products can also release small parts that pose a risk of choking to young children.

Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Blind Cord Safety.
