Product description

This recall involves Halloween Light-Up Skeleton and El Masks. The masks are plastic and can be secured with an attached elasticized band. They have cut outs in the eye and nose areas, and have thin coloured tubing around the eyes, nose, mouth and top edge of the masks. The thin coloured tubing is shaped around the eye and mouth areas. The masks are operated with 2 AA batteries and when turned on, the thin coloured tubing lights up.

The wires underneath the mask may be exposed and come into contact with the face, posing a burn hazard.

As of October 30, 2019, the company has received 1 reports of an exposed wire in Canada, which resulted in a one minor burn injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the masks and return them to their local Giant Tiger store for a refund.
