Halloween Costume Capelet with Marabou Trim
Product description
This recall involves the Halloween costume, The Capelet with Marabou, by Rubie's. The costume consists of a hooded black capelet with red marabou trim around the hood and shoulders.
The costume is made of 100% polyester with red marabou trim. It can be identified by item number 16216 and by the UPC 082686162166. The costume also contains the following Canadian and American manufacturing codes: CA22649 and RN66360.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the marabou trim on the Halloween costume does not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The Halloween costume could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other heat sources such as candles, matches or lighters and cause serious burns to consumers.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this costume.
