Product description
This recall involves various models of Pekkle Baby Sleepers with metal snaps. The sleepers are made of 100% cotton and come in six different sizes:
- 3 Months
- 6 Months
- 9 Months
- 12 Months
- 18 Months
- 24 Months
The lot number can be found on the label sewn in to the inside of the left leg of the sleeper.

Hazard identified
The metal snaps on the recalled Pekkle sleepers may detach or fall off resulting in a choking or laceration hazard for children.
As of May 8, 2017, the company has received three reports of incidents in Canada, including one report of a laceration injury to an infant.
Number sold
Approximately 79,305 units of the affected products were sold in Canada at Costco retail stores.
Time period sold
Lot number C62 sleepers were sold in from March 15, 2017 to April 14, 2017 and lot number C63 sleepers were sold from February 13, 2017 to April 14, 2017.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sleepwear and return the affected product to the nearest Costco Wholesale location for a full refund.
