Reason

The recall was initiated in response to a series of similar customer complaints regarding limited functionality of the control knob.  Specifically, the control knob could not be rotated to all of the available flow settings.  Through inspection of returned units, it was determined that the limited access to flow settings was a result of the control knob having been rotated beyond its functional range.   When rotated clockwise to aux, or counterclockwise to off, the control knob is designed to engage a detent plate to prevent further rotation (the stop feature).  When forcibly rotated past the stop feature, the knob can no longer access all of the designed flow settings.
