Product description
This recall involves the Go-Fish-Go Magnetic Marble Maze, sold under the brand name "Educo". This toy is a wooden magnetic marble maze that is in the shape of a fish and has a plastic cover over the maze. A magnetic wand is used to move blue and red marbles through the maze. The recalled toy can be identified by item #ED2450 and UPC 77225802450.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has identified that the blue plastic discs can easily break off from the toy into small, sharp pieces, posing choking and laceration hazards to young children.
Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of this product.
Number sold
Approximately 2,120 of the recalled products were sold at toy and variety stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from January 2006 to June 2009.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
