Product description
This recall involves Glue Gun by Multicraft Imports Ltd. The glue gun is available in black or blue with a silver red or yellow tip. The guns can be identified by the following model numbers:
- TY- G1001 (GG600): Craft Quick Shot Mini Glue Gun 10W
- TY- G4001 (GG500): Craft Magnum Glue Gun 40W
- TY- G6008 (GG520): Craft Cannon Glue Gun 80W
Hazard identified
The recalled product has not been evaluated for safety against any Canadian standards and bears an unauthorized cUL (Canadian Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) mark. The product may pose safety hazards to users.
Neither Health Canada nor Multicraft Imports Ltd. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these glue guns.
Number sold
Approximately 35,000 of the recalled glue guns were sold at dollar and discount stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled glue guns were sold from September 2007 to August 2010.
Place of origin
