Product description
This recall involves the following styles of girls' 2-piece camisole and boxer sets sold under the brand name "Joe Boxer". The sleepwear is made of 100% cotton and available in various sizes.
Both styles are marketed under the marking CA 30885, which can be found on the sales tag as well as on a hang tag on the inside of the sleepwear.

Hazard identified
Health Canada has determined that the recalled sleepwear does not meet the design and flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Children's sleepwear that is loose fitting or that has loose edges can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more easily than tight-fitting sleepwear. Once ignited the sleepwear can burn rapidly and cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body, resulting in shock and sometimes death.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this sleepwear.

Number sold
Approximately 10,587 sets of the recalled style J671147 were sold across Canada at The Bay, Sears and independent retailers and approximately 1,175 sets of the recalled style J691012 were sold at Sears and independent retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled Style J691012 was sold from June 2009 to October 2009 and the Style J671147 was sold from February 2009 to July 2010.
Place of origin
Manufactured in India.
