This recall involves the pre-lit artificial Noble pine tree sold with white lights. The brand name is "Danson Décor" and the tree measures 1.98 m (6.5 feet) in height and 1.21 m (4 feet) in diameter. It is identified by product number 860335 and UPC 758440999346.
Hazard identified
Some trees may have been sold with a 12V adaptor, not a 5V adaptor as intended. When the 12V adaptor is used it can cause the lights to overheat, posing a fire hazard.
As of December 11, 2018, the company has received 6 reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.
