Product description
This recall involves all sets of Giant Stars. The sets include "stars" that are approximately 13 cm (5 inches) in diameter and made of opaque plastic in a variety of colours. The stars are designed to connect together by the 6 ball-like knobs that form the star. The Giant Stars sets contain red, green, yellow, and blue stars and can be identified by model #825009, and UPC 608618850095.
Hazard identified
The ball-like knobs on the plastic stars can break off, forming small parts; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.
Edushape Ltd. has received 3 reports of the ball-like knobs breaking off, with no reported injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys.

Number sold
Approximately 90 of the recalled toy sets were sold at several small retailers across Canada.

The recalled products were sold from January 2007 to May 2010 in Canada.
