Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of vehicles, the child being dragged.
Neither Health Canada nor FXR Factory Racing Inc. have received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Approximately 34,357 recalled items were distributed in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled items were sold from August 2008 to January 2014 at FXR Factory Racing stores and authorized dealers across Canada.
Place of origin
The recalled items were manufactured in China and Vietnam.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the garment to eliminate the hazard.
