Product description
This recall involves various Fuse 120V cell phone chargers. The following models are included in the recall:

Hazard identified
The affected products have not been evaluated for safety against any Canadian standards and may pose safety hazards to users.
Neither foneGEAR, LLC, the Electrical Safety Authority nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these chargers.
Number sold
Approximately 37,970 units of the affected products were sold at Wal-Mart, Zellers, HMV and Winners stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from June 2011 to September 2011.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chargers and return the product to foneGEAR in exchange for a similar certified product. The company foneGEAR will be replacing the recalled product with a new product that has been certified and built to the appropriate Canadian standards.
