Frontier Combination Harness-2-Booster Child Restraints

Product description

This recall involves Frontier combination harness-2-Booster child restraints. The recall includes Frontier child restraints manufactured between June 10, 2008 and September 17, 2008 for model numbers E9L75H6 and E9L75M6.

Hazard identified

There is a potential for one side of the shoulder harness to become detached from the yoke on the back of the child/booster seat when loosening the harness to remove a child.

Should one side of the shoulder harness become detached and not be detected by the parent, the harness would not securely restrain a child in the child/booster restraint system in the event of a collision. As with all child restraint systems, when buckling up the child, the harness should always be tested for tightness. Any detachment would be obvious at that point in time.

Number sold

Approximately 3,920 child restraints were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The time period during which the products were sold is not known.
