Product description

This recall involves clamp meters by Fluke Corporation. The affected models are as follows:

  • Model 337 (Serial Numbers 96310001 to 98890607)
  • Model 336 (Serial Numbers 96360001 to 98900400)
  • Model 335 (Serial Numbers 97160001 to 98860104)
  • Model 334 (Serial Numbers 97180001 to 98870101)
  • Model 333 (Serial Numbers 97170001 to 98880240)

The model number can be found on the front of the product, underneath the meter display. The serial number can be found written on a silver label on the back of the product.

Hazard identified

The display may indicate a low or no voltage reading on a circuit energized with a hazardous voltage, creating a hazardous situation if the user contacts live voltage based on an erroneous instrument reading.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Number sold

Approximately 4,087 recalled clamp meters were sold across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were distributed from January 2008 and June 2008.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
