Product description
This recall involves the Flexible-Flyer "Fun Time" Gym Set with See Saw attachment. The affected units can be identified by model number 42124 and UPC 04767242124, and were manufactured from February 2012 to April 2012. The model number and date of manufacture label can be found on the bottom, centre of the top bar of the swing set.
Hazard identified
The see saw seats can break away from the bolt fasteners during use, posing a fall hazard.
Troxel has received 1,232 reports of broken See Saw seats. Of these, 13 involved injuries to young children that included bumps, bruises and lacerations in the United States. There have been 21 incidents reported in Canada.
Health Canada has received three reports of incidents related to the use of the affected product, including a child injuring their arm and a child hitting their head both resulting from a fall.
Number sold
Approximately 4,877 units of the recalled product were sold to Wal-Mart Canada.
Approximately 100,500 units of the recalled product and other models were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from February 2012 to April 2012 in Canada, and from December 2011 to May 2012 in the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in the United States.

Consumers should immediately stop using the See Saw attachment on their swing set and contact Troxel for a free repair kit.
