The portable generator may have a gas leak, posing a potential toxic or flammability hazard.
What to do:
Immediately stop using the product and return it to a Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. location for a full refund or take the recalled generator to a FIRMAN service center for a free inspection and repair.
FIRMAN Portable Generator- Model P03615
This recall involves the FIRMAN black and yellow generator with model number P03615. The model number is shown on the white nameplate on the top right side of the generator as you face the "FIRMAN" label on the front.
A small hole in the vapor vent line of the generator could potentially leak, vent or drip gas from the carbon canister, posing a toxic or flammability hazard.
As of April 24, 2019, the company has received no reports of leaks in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
Approximately 93 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
