Product description
The recall involves Doodlezz bicycle helmets for children, 5 years of age and older, and for youth, 8 years of age and older. The helmets are white and are sold with markers and a cleaner to decorate the product. The recalled products have a sticker on the inside of the helmet and can be identified by the production lot numbers #SR0214110, #SR0215075, #SR0215053, #SR0214111, #SR0215054, #SR0215076, and #SR0215077.

Hazard identified
The recalled products are sold to consumers with the inner foam liner in the helmet detached from the outer plastic shell, which poses a head injury hazard.
Neither Health Canada nor Stoneridge Cycle has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to this product.
Number sold
Approximately 8,200 units of the recalled products were sold from Canadian Tire stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from March 2015 until September 2016.
Place of origin

Consumer should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and return them to the retailers for a refund.
