Affected products

Evenflo Envision High Chair

Product description

This recall involves all Evenflo Envision high chairs. The affected model numbers are: 2891321, 2891333, 2891351, 2891403, 2891478, and 2892351.

The model number can be found on a white label on the seat back. The words "Evenflo" and "Envision" are printed on the front of the tray.

Hazard identified

The recline fasteners and screws on either side of the high chair can loosen and fall out, posing both a fall and choking hazard to children.

In Canada, Evenflo has received four reports of the seat back reclining unexpectedly, with one report of a child's arm being pinched. There have been no reports of the screws or fasteners falling out of the chair.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this high chair.

Number sold

Approximately 3,694 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold starting in May 2003.

The product was manufactured between November 2002 and December 2005.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled high chairs and contact Evenflo to receive a free repair kit.

Consumers should not return the product to the place of purchase.
