Ergodyne Squids 3705 Wire Tool Attachment recalled due to injury hazard

Affected products
This recall involves the Ergodyne Squids 3705 Wire Tool Attachment. The product is used to securely tether tools to prevent them from falling on those below while working at heights. It has a 5 3/4 inch long orange wire loop with a black and green tag. "Ergodyne" and "Model 3705" are printed on the black front tag. The back of the tag is green. The product was sold in packs of six as well as kits including the product.

Issue
The product may not be able to meet the labeled weight capacity of three pounds resulting in a risk of injury due to falling tools.
As of December 4, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or in the United States.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Ergodyne Squids 3705 Wire Tool Attachment and contact Ergodyne for a pre-paid shipping label to return product and receive a $4 refund per wire tool (up to $24 per six pack) in the form of a credit towards another Ergodyne product.
