Product description

This recall involves the Equate® Daily Moisturizing Lotion (71 mL) and Equate® Intense Relief Hand Cream (97mL). The UPC code is located on the back of the label.

Hazard identified

The recalled products may have the presence of the microorganism Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pseudomonas aeruginosa poses little medical risk to healthy individuals. Individuals with certain health problems or compromised immune systems are at an increased risk of infection if they use the contaminated product.

As of July 27, 2021, the company has received no incidents or injuries in Canada.

The company reported that 29,968 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
