Product description

This recall involves the Arie Chair, an upholstered styrofoam shell chair with a customized front and back cover with a metal base. 

The affected products are as follows:

Hazard identified

The weld of the metal mounting plate can fail, resulting in the chair's stem breaking off and the chair falling, which presents a fall hazard to consumers.

As of September 15, 2018 the company has received a total of 3 reports of the chair’s stem breaking.  No injuries have been reported.

Approximately 272 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from May 2018 to July 2018.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chair and contact EQ3 for a repair kit.
