Product description
This recall involves Epicure transparent tempered 1-cup glass prep bowls which are stackable with sealable silicone lids. They are sold as a set of 4. The product code 1004242 is printed on the bottom of the packaging.
Hazard identified
The tempered glass bowl can shatter during use, posing a laceration hazard.
As of Mar 19, 2021 the company has received 35 reports of glass breakage in Canada, and 1 report of a cut to the finger. In the United States, the company received 6 reports of incidents related to breakage of glass. No injuries have been reported.
Number sold
The company reported that 4,907 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 1,622 units were sold in the United States.

The affected products were sold from May 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020.
