Product description

This recall involves Envirotex kits sold in plastic bottles overwrapped with clear plastic to Canadian consumers. UPC can be found under the product on the kit label.

Hazard identified

The recalled products do not meet the packaging and labelling requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of child-resistant packaging and labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of September 30, 2019 the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injury.

Approximately 274 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

The affected products were sold in September 2019.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Michaels for a refund.
