Hazard identified
The recalled product does not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The lack of child-resistant packaging and labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death.
As of April 7, 2020, EcoPoxy has received 1 report of incident in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 50,000 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from January 2017 to March 2020.
