Issue

The lanyards have recently been found not to meet one CSA specification requirement and can produce higher than expected maximum arresting forces in the event of a fall in extreme wet and frozen conditions, posing a potential injury hazard.

As of January 17, 2022, the company has received no report of incident in Canada, and no report of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard and contact the manufacturer for a replacement product.
