Product description

This recall involves the Cosco Vinyl Folding Chair, a black folding chair with a steel frame and vinyl padded seat and back. The affected chair has a warning label and model information located under the seat. The affected model number is 0237840HMBC6 with a date code of 04/16/2018 and UPC 065857160338.

Hazard identified

The fold link steel on some chairs from this lot, do not meet the minimum product specification and may result in some fold link breakage during use, which may present a fall hazard to consumers.

As of February 12, 2019, the company has received 6 reports of the fold link breaking in Canada. The company has received no reports of injuries.
