Product description
This recall involves the following themed pencil cases:
- Avengers: UPC 464592508298
- Multi-Princess: UPC 464592507956
- Miles from Tomorrowland: UPC 464592508038
- CARS: UPC 464592508113
The pencil cases have spring loaded compartments for scissors, tape, ruler and erasers.
Hazard identified
The lid is held closed by two magnets. These magnets can become loose posing a perforation hazard to young children.
Neither Health Canada nor Disney Store has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of the product in Canada. Additionally, no consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of the product have been reported in the United States.
Number sold
Approximately 16 units were sold in Canada and 300 units in the United States at Disney Store locations.
Time period sold
The recall cases were sold between June 3, 2015 and June 12, 2015.

What you should do
Consumers should take the case away from children and return it to a Disney Store for a full refund.
