Product description
This recall involves the Zodiac Rattle Drum. This product is available in 12 different styles of cartoon animals. All styles have a rainbow coloured handle and long beaded strings hanging from both sides of the drum. The UPC code is 6 464646 853255.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these rattles do not meet the Canadian safety requirements for rattles. The beaded string and the base of the rattle can enter and become lodged in a child’s throat, posing a choking or suffocation hazard to young children.
Neither Health Canada nor Discount Hub has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these rattles in Canada.

Number sold
Approximately 13 units of the recalled rattles were sold in Canada at Discount Hub.
Time period sold
The recalled rattles were sold from July 2016 to September 2016.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled rattle away from children and return to Discount Hub for a refund or store credit.
