Hazard identified
Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that the regular and light Demquin alkyd medium products do not meet the labelling and child-resistant closure requirements for poisonous consumer chemicals, as per Canadian law.
The lack of child-resistant closures and appropriate warning labels could result in unintentional exposure to this product and lead to serious illnesses or injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Approximately 223 units of the recalled products were sold in various stores across Canada.
