Product description

This recall involves the Delaronde 3-Piece High Bistro Set sold at Home Depot Canada. The recalled product is a patio set featuring two high-back bar chairs and a glass-top table. It was sold in the colours navy (UPC 680339000942, Article Number 1001188503) and tan (UPC 680339000959, Article number 1001188502).

The Delaronde 3-piece High Bistro Set was branded as Hampton Bay in 2021, Patio Plus in 2020 and Unbranded in 2019.

Hazard identified

The bar chair did not pass the backrest durability testing as per UL4041, posing a fall hazard.

As of May 11, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The company reported that 245 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
