Product description
This recall involves 4 models of the Tonal Thirst 355 ml (12 oz) Ceramic Mugs identified by product SKU CM6531. It comes in a glossy two-tone finish with a white exterior and coloured handle. The coloured handle matches the interior mug colour. The mugs were available in the following colours: white/black, white/blue, white/lime and white/red.
The ceramic mugs can have various logos printed on them as part of a promotional/marketing giveaway.
Hazard identified
The mug handle can break, posing a burn or laceration hazard to consumers.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these mugs.
In Canada, Debco Bag Distributors received one report of a burn injury due to the mug handle breaking. No incidents were reported in the United States.
Number sold
Approximately 24,084 of the recalled products were sold in Canada as promotional/marketing giveaways, and approximately 150 units were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from August 2015 to April 2016 in Canada and the United States.
Place of origin

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mugs and dispose them, and contact Debco Bag Distributors for a non-imprinted replacement mug.
