Product description
This recall involves a cupcake shoe tag (or charm) for use with Dawgs clogs. The recalled charm can be identified by item number FY011 and UPC 879646000206.
The cupcake tag is also available as part of the Dawgs Starter Pack Shoe Tags, which has item number FSPG03 and UPC 879646000053.
Hazard identified
The recalled shoe tag contains high levels of lead. Lead is very toxic to children even at low exposure levels. Children can ingest harmful amounts of lead when they chew, suck or swallow jewellery items containing lead.
Neither Double Diamond Distribution nor Health Canada has received any reports of illness or injury to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Number sold
Approximately 950 of the recalled shoe tags were sold individually and as part of the starter pack at Dawgs stores in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from December 2006 to February 2010.
