Product description

This recall involves a soft plastic yo-yo ball toy, available in a variety of colours, where the ball-like end is in the shape of various animals such as a pig or a rabbit. The animals are covered in short, stretchy plastic cylinders that resemble hair. Additionally, the toys have a stretchable plastic finger loop. The yo-yo ball toys are identified by UPC 05842089222.

Hazard identified

Yo-yo type balls and similar products are banned in Canada because they present a hidden risk of strangulation to children.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these recalled yo-yo balls.
