Product description

This recall involves Crack Filler for concrete surface sold under the brand name "Black Kote" and "Dura Pro" by Dural Inc.

The recalled product can be identified by the following model numbers and product description.
Model Number Description
BK 80 Black Kote Rubberized Crack Filler sold in a 300 ml blue tube.
BK 80 Black Kote Rubberized Crack Filler sold in a 1.4 kg can.
DP 80 Dura Pro Rubberized Crack Filler sold in a 300 ml orange and brown tube.
DP 80 Dura Pro Rubberized Crack Filler sold in a 1.4 kg can with orange and brown label.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that the recalled products do not meet the packaging and labelling requirements under Canadian law.

This lack of labelling information, including appropriate warnings and hazard symbols, may lead to serious injury.

Neither Dural Inc. nor Health Canada has received report of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Number sold

Approximately 57,734 units of the recalled products were sold at Rona, Canadian Tire and Canwell across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from January 2009 to April 2010.

Place of origin

Manufactured in Canada.
