Product description

This recall involves Coralife aquarium light fixtures and strip lights.

  • Aquarium Light Fixture: AQ Pendant 150W HQI BLK
  • Aquarium Strip Light: AQ T-5 COLORMAX/ 6700K 30.

Hazard identified

The recalled aquarium lights are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards. They may pose a fire hazard to consumers.

Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these aquarium lights.

Number sold

Approximately 37 units of the recalled Aquarium Lights were sold at Big Al's store in Scarborough, Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled Aquarium Lights were sold from April2009 to November 2010.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
