What to do

Immediately stop using the recalled products and contact All Strong Industry USA, Inc. for a replacement shade.

Affected products

This recall involves Copper Grove Yerevan Shades sold on with the Top Down Bottom Up feature. The sticker on the back of the headrail lists “Manufacturer: CF”.

Description: 1-1.5 inch Blackout or Light Filtering Cellular shade.

Colour: White, Alabaster, Cream and Light Gray

The recalled blinds do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard.

Children can become entangled in blind cords, which can quickly lead to strangulation and even death. Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Blind Cord Safety.

As of December 7, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
